1 November 2000: 7:15PM ... I'm now adding 83 degrees to the wind direction ... I still doubt that it is right ... It needs to be calibrated with a compass some day, and the data from the previous wind vane mount also needs to be adjusted about 100 degrees! We should be able to find that date from looking at the battery voltages and finding when it was off for a while. I think it was around 10 october. -James Jefferson

2 November 2000: 9:17PM ... I just found my note on the original wind offset. It says "WD reads 141 when really 8"

5 November 2000: 6:02PM ... I observed the weather station today while it was really windy. The windvane whips around. Some sort of average needs to be taken, methinks.

22 November 2000: 12:17 ... no news is good news, but unfortunately that is not the case when the weather station doesn't report. Sonja and I took it down yesterday. Adam and I are going will figure out some way to keep it warm.
