PowerTerm® WebConnect Sample Links

This page demonstrates how to integrate PowerTerm WebConnect into a Web site or Portal. Additional examples can be found at the online demo page on the Ericom Web Site. Click the buttons below to activate the desired PowerTerm WebConnect components. The first time a component is activated it will automatically be downloaded, installed on the local computer and launched. Any subsequent activation will launch that component directly. Select the platform specification and download mechanism that best suit your requirements.

^* Component is downloaded, installed and launched by an ActiveX control. This mechanism works only on Windows and requires a browser that supports ActiveX, such as Internet Explorer (version 5 or higher). For the ActiveX downloading control to be installed, do not disable download of signed ActiveX controls. For the ActiveX downloading control to work, do not disable ActiveX controls.

^** Component is downloaded, installed and launched by a Java applet. This mechanism requires Java (1.1.4 or higher) to be installed on the computer, and supported by the browser. Also, do not disable browser scripting.

^*** For Seamless Windows functionality and Load Balancing you must install the PowerTerm Terminal Server Agent component on the Terminal Servers (2000 and 2003). The installation file PowerTermTerminalServerAgent.exe can be copied from the WebConnect Server at the following location: <WebConnect 5.1 installation folder>/web.

^† Component is downloaded, installed and launched by a Java applet. This mechanism requires Java (1.1.4 or higher) to be installed on the computer, and supported by the browser. Also, do not disable browser scripting.

^†† Component is downloaded, installed and launched by the Mozilla Cross-Platform Installer (XPI). This mechanism requires a browser that supports XPI (Mozilla or derivative such as Firefox). Also, do not disable browser scripting.

^††† For Seamless Windows functionality and Load Balancing you must install the PowerTerm Terminal Server Agent component on the Terminal Servers (2000 and 2003).
